Busy Times at Barley Stacks Wines
With the weather starting to warm up, we have been very busy over the last few months (August onwards) here at Barley Stacks Wines.
We have done numerous tasting nights across the Yorke Peninsula with local and visiting groups. We also attended the Wine, Wheels and Whiting event held in Wallaroo on the 12th of September offering tastings as well as sales by the glass or bottle. It was a beautiful sunny day which helped bring out the crowds.
The same day we also held our first wedding of the season at the winery. It was a beautiful day and night. Feedback from the families involved was great and we are happy we could help make the day everything they wanted it to be.
One week later we held our demo 'De-Vine Sunday Sessions' with Yorkes Uncorked. Working with Yorkes Uncorked we were able to help provide a one of a kind experience to some very lucky people. They enjoyed a lovely Yorkes Uncorked entree paired with tastings of our white wines, followed by main course paired with our award-winning shiraz followed by a beautiful dessert. The girls at Yorkes Uncorked did a fabulous job running and organising the day and we look forward to holding many more of these days and working closely with them.
We then attended the YP Field Days holding a stall in the Larwood Pavilion with the other members of the Y3P group. See our news article 'Barley Stacks Wines at the YP Field Days' for more about the event.
The summer looks to be very busy for us so keep an eye out for our upcoming events!
